Prayers for Texas
Greetings. Just a short post of prayers for all those affected by the approaching hurricane Harvey in Texas. In 1983 we were temporarily living in Houston when "Alicia" hit Texas and I was worried.
Coming from Arizona, I had never experienced so much water! And the wind-115 mph.
There was a lot of property damage in our area but we lived thru it fine.
Our prayers go out for Texas.

My former neighbors ( he is in the Airforce and they get transferred a lot / I have one of their dogs from when they had to move ) are now in a community between San Antonio and Houston.
ReplyDeleteWe were texting this morning....they are not by a river and they are on a hill but the forecast is alarming ; between 10 and 20 inches of rain.
Thank you for your prayers sweet Mary. We have both friends and family members near the Texas coast. They know our doors here at Storybook Cottage are open to them. The rain has stopped today but due to start up again and we are specifically praying that the levees hold.
